About Kristin
Eighteen years of careful, hands-on work.
I graduated from massage therapy school in 2008, where I trained in neuromuscular therapy and lymphatic drainage. Three years later I began studying microcurrent and working with the Dolphin Neurostim — a tool that has become the first step in the Key Lymphatics method.
How the Key Lymphatics method came together
After moving back to Minnesota in 2016, I began working with women navigating recovery after C-sections, cosmetic surgery, mastectomy, and radiation treatment. Session after session, I noticed the same patterns: guarding in the tissue, scar-related restriction pulling on surrounding structures, and a lymphatic system that needed gentle encouragement to move again.
Out of that experience, the Key Lymphatics method — Reset. Release. Flow. — took shape. Every session begins with microcurrent. I use it with every client, every time, because it works at the level of the nervous system: gently shifting the body out of a guarded, reactive state and into the parasympathetic — the rest-and-restore state where the body is actually able to do the work of healing. That reset is the foundation everything else is built on.
Once the nervous system has settled, I turn to the scar tissue — addressing restriction, adhesion, and the guarding patterns that form around it. From there, I bring in gentle mobility work to help restore comfortable movement in the surrounding area. Lymphatic drainage isn't a separate step; it's woven through the whole session, supported by each layer of the work. The sequence matters, and so does the pacing.
I also work with clients who experience migraines. Focused bodywork addressing the neck, shoulders, and cranial structures can offer meaningful relief for some people, and I bring the same careful attention to those sessions that I bring to post-surgical work. Every session is built around the person in front of me — not a fixed protocol.
What you can expect
A thorough intake
We talk through your history, your concerns, and what you're hoping to get from the work before I ever put my hands on you.
Adapted technique
I draw from microcurrent, red light therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and scar tissue work, layered in the order your body needs.
Honest communication
I'll tell you what I'm noticing, what I'm doing, and why. You're always in charge of the session.

What scar tissue work can do
These photos show one client's progress over the course of eleven 30-minute sessions. Results vary — this is not a promise of what any individual will experience.
A 55-year-old woman with a large scar and skin graft running from the underarm to the wrist. The tissue was raised, dark, and heavily restricted before any sessions began.
After five 30-minute sessions. The scar is visibly flatter and lighter. The texture has begun to soften and the surrounding tissue is less guarded.
After eleven 30-minute sessions. The scar has faded significantly and the tissue is much smoother, with the scar line blending into the surrounding skin.
